Why is a Service needed?
A service is needed periodically, as with all mechanical and electrical devices adjustments and maintenance is required to keep your mobility equipment in the best possible condition. Regular servicing and maintenance will save you costly expenses in the future and will help your equipment run effectively longer. If insurance is taken out for your mobility equipment, you will need to have it serviced at least once a year in accordance to the terms and conditions.
Manufactures recommend that a service is carried out every three months, however, we would only recommend that the most extreme user have a service every six months. In our experience the user that uses their equipment to its fully capability day in, day out would need a six monthly service.*
